344 – Qualities that make us a better  human being

First meeting of the year 2020 was beautifully steered by TM Kumarappan. It was a great welcome to year 2020 by attending the meeting in good strength and with full of enthusiasm.The Hall was specially decorated by balloons. The meeting was declared open by President TM Abidul Islam at 7:40 pm. He encouraged TMs to participate in upcoming contest. Word ‘surfeit’ was introduced by TM Snehal. The thought of the day ‘Be courageous and achieve your dreams’ was given by TM Shafi.

TME started the meeting with motivational quotes and thoughts. Afterwards prepared speeches were delivered.

TM Syamlal gave his L2-P1 Speech on ‘Leadership Style’. He spoke about his personal life experience and how he was able to achieve his mission in life. His speech was evaluated by TM Shruthi Shetty.

TM Shameema gave her 39th Advance Speech on ‘Proposal’. She spoke about sharing warmth by donating clothes. Her speech was evaluated by TM Snehal.

TM Rajshekhar gave his Advance Impromptu Speech. He spoke about formula 1 race and racing car’s features. His speech was evaluated by TM Abidul Islam.

TM Shameema gave her Advance speech on ‘DTAC Proposal’. She spoke about how exciting DTAC 2020 is going to be and what are the advantage to participate in it. Her speech was evaluated by TM Yashshree.

Table topic was conducted by TM Nancy Roji. TM Preetha, TM Rajshekhar, TM Anita, TM Mukesh Kumar and Guest Rasesh participated.

Topics were:

  1. Feel the object, guess and tell about it.
  2. Describe your life if you are a glue stick.
  3. Advertise a soap to sell it in IUTM club.
  4. Look at the picture and express it by telling a story.

The general evaluation was done by TM Asif. He congratulated TM Shameema for becoming DTM. He suggested some changes in sitting arrangements.He encouraged all members to do volunteer work.

The meeting was declared closed by the President and dinner was served at 9:45 pm.
