Committee Report: “Prepare to Compete”-refers Success. ““Success is, peace of mind which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing that you did your best to become the best you are capable of becoming.” The philosophy that we are following throughout our life can be summed up in two words: ‘Prepare and Compete’. Together they will serve as a formula for the success that we can find in all facets of our life. TME Shruthi Shetty, steered meeting number 369, by keeping the success key words as an objective of the day. The Meeting embarked on dynamically by SAA TM Preetha Narayanan, and the meeting declared as opened by Madam President TM Namrata Pandey at 7.35P.m. She addressed the members by signalizing the point that ‘Life is about accepting the challenges along the way, choosing to keep moving forward, and savoring the journey. She has made some announcement in the meeting on the upcoming contest. She congratulated TM Shruthi for achieving her Level 1 project.
TM Nancy and TM Deepthi electrified the audience with their inspirational words through prepared speeches.
TM Nancy delivered her L2P3 on ‘the Importance of Mentoring.’. Wherein she covered the points such as what is mentoring and why it important especially in Toast masters. She distinguished the difference between mentoring and coaching. Her Speech was evaluated by TM Ranjit.
TM Deepti gave her L2P2 project. On the topic’ Include Everyone’’ She portrayed her views on inclusion, and how Inclusion integrates people with disabilities in which different groups or individuals having different backgrounds. Her speech was evaluated by DTM Rajsekhar.
Table Topics is, in itself, a crucial element of Toastmasters. It allows us to think on our feet and improve our improvisation skills. Honing this ability is important not only for becoming a better speaker but also help us to improve our communication in general. Table Topic segment, the most interesting segment of the day was steered by TM Shruthi. All the members got an opportunity to participate in the Table Topics session.
Madam President TM Namrata Pandey closed the meeting after the result declaration at 8.45 P.m.
