Committee Report: Mind Mapping, a powerful technique that supports learning, improves information recording, shows how different facts and ideas are related, and enhances creative problem solving. TME Murari, mapped meeting number 364 with his young and energizing mind. The Meeting embarked on dynamically by SAA TM Preetha Narayanan and declared as opened by President TM Namrata Pandey at 7.35P.m. She addressed the members by signalizing that, A good Mind Map shows the “shape” of the subject, the relative importance of individual points, and the ways in which facts relate to one another. They are great when you need to think creatively, and can help you to make new connections between ideas. She has made some announcement in the meeting on upcoming programs and activities. She congratulated TM Basheer for achieving Level 1 of Engaging Humour Path. The opulent words of wisdom ‘The Thought for the Day’ delivered by TM Rashesh wherein he pointed the benefits of mind mapping as it can align more than our thoughts in our journey. He also added that Mind mapping is the best key to success.
Prepared speeches were delivered by TM Asif, TM Shruthi, TM Vivek and TM Ramakrishnan astonished the members with their profound words.
TM Asif gave his L3P3 project on the topic ‘Communicate with a purpose’. He has taken the members to a learning platform wherein he explained, each day, we must communicate with a variety of people, for a variety of reasons, in a variety of ways. He also added the core point that, how to take small towards our journey even we face challenges. His speech was evaluated by TM Abidul Islam.
TM Shruthi gave her L1P2 -Sp2 project on the topic “Smart WhatsApp”. smart devices have become a popular trend to make life easier. She spoke on how smart technology has impacted our lives in and out of the home also pointed the advantage and disadvantage of smart technological devices. Her speech was evaluated by TM Deepti.
TM Vivek gave his L2P3 project on ‘mentoring’. The core point of his speech was how formal and informal mentoring help us to aspire our goals. He also added the major difference between mentoring and coaching. His speech was evaluated by TM Ranjit.
TM Ramakrishnan gave L4P1 project on the topic “Thankless Job”. We should do justice to our job and be an analyzer and communicator to the employees. We must start with our own learning journey and Take the changes to the heights. This will make us successful. His speech was evaluated by TM Shajahan.
Table Topics session-a session where we get members and guests in the audience to participate in giving impromptus speeches. TM Pratibha, the creative energizer kept all the speakers on their feet.TM kumarappan, TM Shajahan, TM Ramakrishnan and TM Abidul took part in the Table Topic Segment.
The General Evaluation was done by DTM Shameema in detail. DTM Shameema appreciated all the role players and congratulated TME for his aspiration to chip in ‘Mind mapping”. She has highlighted the best part of the meeting-‘Mind Mapping Session’- wherein the members learned the tips and tricks to do mind mapping. She suggested to start the meeting always on time and all the role players should maintain the time allocated to each one of them.
Finally, the mapping journey announced by TME by giving an assurance of detailed mind mapping session. The mapping route declared ‘closed’ by the President TM Namrata Pandey after the result declaration.

Yesterday we had another 2 hours of fun filled learning. TM Murari steered the meeting flawlessly and we all learnt about the mind mapping tool.
TM Elroy stepped in as a grammarian and reminded us of some of the basics of English grammar. All the speakers, evaluator’s and role players did a fantastic job. DTM Shameema’s feed back was very focused.
And this meeting reiterated the fact that toastmasters is all about coming together of like minded people who want to improve their leadership and communication skills.
It’s about everyone participating in the meetings and helping each other. We all have certain skills and strengths which can help others. The club benefits when everyone brings in their experience and expertise.
So a humble appeal to all members please join the meeting and express yourself. It’s a team work.
