- Committee Report: Little Things…!! We all have them; those small moments or things that often go unnoticed or unappreciated because we think they’re either insignificant or we take them for granted because we live in a culture that celebrates big accomplishments. Real life is happening all around us while we’re waiting for the big thing, we hope is going to give us some sort of inner peace, contentment or joy. The truth is that often the things that matter most are the small ones. An enduring voyage to haunt the little things that matter…TM Yashashree glided the 360th meeting beautifully by holding the little things of life. The Meeting declared as opened by President TM Namrata Pandey at 7.30P.m. She addressed the members by explaining the importance of the great deed of Volunteering. The mighty words of wisdom ‘The Thought for the Day’ delivered by TM Deepti wherein she explained the beauty and dignity of minute things in our life.
- Spaekathon: Write. Speak. Impact. Don’t keep your ideas bottled up in your head.
Prepared speech Segment were conducted as a Speakthon session to give more opportunities for our members and also to update their Base Camp.
Speeches were delivered by TM Vivek, TM Rajan Tawde, TM Pratibha Tiwari, TM Anitha, and TM Namrata Pandey galvanized the audience with their impressive words.
TM Vivek delivered his L2P2 on ‘Success?’. He said that, the success occurs when preparation meets opportunity. Success has to do with being true to who YOU are and how you choose to respond to every circumstance that occurs in your life. Speech was evaluated by TM Basheer.
TM Rajan Tawde gave his L3–P1 Speech on ‘”Honor a Runner’. He introduced a new South African Marathon race to the audience by relating the character Mr. Anwar to our life. Every person who aspires success to lead a good life requires motivation and hard work. His speech was evaluated by TM Ramkrishnan.
TM Pratibha Tiwari gave her L3P3 project on thetopic “Grey Areas of Life” wherein she depicted her life experiences. She quoted that every coin has two sides that means ‘we should never leave confidence in difficult times, because it will lead to better days. There is a silver lining in everyone’s life and that is the hope for progress and an opportunity to go ahead in life. Her speech was evaluated by TM Ranjit
TM Anita gave her L3P1 project on the topic “Noble Prize Winner” wherein sheportrayed the inspiring story of Mother with a motivational saying that ‘’Before you love, learn to forgive’.Her speech was evaluated by TM Chunav Duta.
TM Namrata Pandey gave her L3P2 project on the topic “Perception”. The core message of the speech was ‘outward appearance cannot be an indicator of someone or something’s value or worth and we should never judge a person by external appearances. Her speech was evaluated by TM Shajahan.
The General Evaluation was done by TM Shruthi Shetty in detail. TM Shruthi appreciated all the role players and congratulated TME for her elegant style of meeting. She has given some suggestion such as, a) A spoke person can be assigned as a representative for all virtual responses instead of taking whole floor reactions to elude distractions. b) All elements of the meeting including Table Topic segment can be added, if the evaluation is in written format during Speakathon Challenge sessions.
Our Guest Speaker Area Director TM Reena Althaf expressed her happiness for attending one of the best clubs under Division N. She titled IUTM as the ‘Epitome of Success’ and appreciated the excellent transition of meetings from Physical to Virtual Platform. TM Reena has made some suggestion for the improvement of club procedures. Finally, the little things have taken greater space in the IUTM’s virtual platform and each member had a take away: “Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you’ll look back and realize they were the big things.”. We had 2 hours of fun filled learning. TM Yashashree steered the meeting flawlessly, the theme of the meeting, little things matter, could be felt throughout.
All the speakers, evaluator’s and role players did a great job. The area director TM Reena gave a very crisp feedback and encouraged us to use our website more judiciously. A new member TM Elroy joined our club today. The more the merrier.
Very interesting meeting so cordial and jovial members
Little Things matter….TME Yashashree clearly portrayed the fact that we need to overlook the small things in our lives when we eagerly chase for the big things. A tiny thing can change our life.
