‘Inspire to Compete’ Annual Humorous and Evaluation Speech Contests

It was a spectacular Annual Club Contest where Humorous and Evaluation Contest were held with high inspiration. The venue was decorated to the theme of the meeting which set the Contest ambiance. We welcomed elite panel of Judges and target speaker from various club. All ballot papers and agendas were in place along with the banner and trophies. Meeting was declared open by Presedent TM Abidul Islam at 7:40 pm. He welcomed all and gave his best wishes to all role players and participants.
Afterwards he called upon Contest Chair TM Alok Mishra to start the evaluation contest.
TM Alok Mishra briefed about the Participants, Evaluation Contest timing rules,
area of speech and introduced all the role players.

The target speaker
spoke on Topic “Leadership Style” where all evaluators took notes, later sent
to separate room and called one by one to evaluate the speech.
Speech was evaluated by TM Asif, TM Ramkrishnan, TM Preetha, TM Ranjith, TM Snehal,
TM Yashshree.
Humorous contest begun after Tea Break where President called upon Contest Chair TM Yashshree.
She briefed about the Participants, Humorous Contest timing rules, area of speech and introduced all the role players.

Mistra took part in the Humorous contest.
We had the Prize distribution for both the categories
The winners of the
Evaluation were:
First Place: TM Snehal.
Second Place: TM Yashashree.
Third Place: TM Asif.
The winners of the Humorous speech were:
First Place : TM Anita.
Second Place: TM Ramakrishanan.
Third Place : TM Mohamad Basheer.
Presedent TM Abidul Islam wished all the participant and winners and asked the Toastmasters to Compete in next International Speech and Table Topics and closed the meeting. Dinner served at 10:10pm.

It was indeed a spectacular meeting, two contests were held with enthusiastic participation of members. The humorous speeches entertained one and all. The evaluation contest was a learning experience for everyone. Congratulations and best wishes to all the winners and contestants.
